The Old Testament goes haute couture in these images by Cathleen Naundorf

Cathleen Naundorf combines extravagant haute-couture gowns with taxidermy to give a modern twist to the story of Noah’s Ark.
Each model posed in front of a dramatic painted backdrop and was photographed using Polaroid film.
“Sometimes, something happens that I didn’t expect,” says Naundorf. “I like this kind of imperfection.”
